About this Event
Permaculture in Practice: Maintenance & Irrigation Upkeep
With summer right around the corner, it's time to make sure your garden systems are set up to thrive in the coming heat. Join us in an established food forest for a hands-on overview of seasonally appropriate maintenance practices and advice. We will also walk through the garden and discuss pruning and other plant maintenance that can be done at this time of year.
We will cover how to:
- check a drip irrigation system for leaks
- make basic repairs
- adjust an irrigation timer schedule with water efficiency in mind
There will be time for questions! Come hang out and learn ways to keep the water flowing and keep your plants growing.
