Tours of the Summit County Historical Society's historic structures start at the office and Woodshed Emporium Gift Shop located behind the Perkins Stone Mansion. Tickets include guided tours of both the Perkins Stone Mansion & John Brown House buildings.
Join us for A Star Spangled Christmas featuring a colorful display in the Perkins Stone Mansion, the home of Akron and Summit County's founding family. Each room will feature a different bright color with clothing and artifacts on display with the tree and decorations.
The John Brown House displays will feature Hanukkah and Kwanza.
Tours are also available without an appointment if tickets are still open per day and may be purchased at the gift shop, 550 Copley Road, Akron.
The parking entrance is at 465 S. Portage Path, Akron. Walk down the drive to the Office and Gift Shop on your right.
