Attendees will help Wyandot County Public Health pack period supply kits that are provided free in our Harm Reduction vending machines in Upper Sandusky and Carey. Kits include individually wrapped pads, tampons, and panty liners.

What is period poverty? 🙋♀️🙋
Period poverty refers to an “insufficient access to menstrual products, education, and sanitation facilities,” which has been linked to negative impacts on education and psychosocial outcomes. At Wyandot County Public Health, we believe that easy access to basic needs like clean period supplies positively impacts and improves the well-being of all who live, work, and play in Wyandot County.
