A deeply restorative afternoon of self-care, embodiment , tea and treats
Date: Saturday 18th April
Time: 2-6.30pm

Half a day of pure nourishment and deep, deep self-care. A space to honour what it is your body needs right now.
If you're navigating the waves aka fresh hell of peri or menopause and feeling the need to pause, find calm and quiet the rage, this space is for you.Join us for a deeply nourishing half-day retreat to support your body, mind, and spirit through this (often) wildly destabilising transition.
Menopause is not just a physical shift, but an emotional, mental, and energetic one too. It can bring feelings of overwhelm, disconnection, fatigue, uncertainty. A collapse both internally and in our lives.
And yet it can also be an opening into a new way of being. An awakening, or reawakening, of an inner fire, a rebel heart. You may even be finding your voice after years of self-silencing.
Whatever your experience, you are welcome. This retreat offers a warm, supportive sanctuary where you can soften into that transition, feel held in shared experience, and reconnect with your inner wisdom.
Utilising a blend of somatic practices, Breathwork, journaling and sharing we will reconnect with our body and the innate wisdom that lies within.
𝗢𝗡𝗟𝗬 𝟲 𝗦𝗣𝗔𝗖𝗘𝗦.
This isn’t about 'managing' symptoms or joyfully celebrating your 'second spring'. It’s very much about leaning into the realness, the complexity of it all, about reconnecting with your body’s wisdom and finding empowerment within your own unique experience.
This is a space for empathy over advice, curiosity over judgement, and your intuition over anyone else’s answers.
Tea and nourishing treats will be free flowing throughout the day, and we’ll close with a delicious, home-cooked meal made with love by me.
We are all uniquely wired with unique histories and unique nervous systems. We will likely experience menopause in our own unique way and there is no wrong here.
What to expect
• We will explore some gentle somatic practices to be with our bodies, be with our experience with softness and forgiveness, allowing space for all emotions.
• We'll be bringing in a sense of curiosity and exploration around our emotional experience of menopause, making space for grief, relief, release, celebration - welcoming what feels most alive for you right now as an individual.
• Drawing upon the medicine of the breath, we'll be inviting in an experience of ease and peace, filled with self-compassion and self-acceptance.
• This is a space for empathy over advice, curiosity over judgement, your intuition over anyone else's answers.
• Tea and treats will be free-flowing, and we'll close our time together with a shared meal of nourishing and nutritious home-cooked food (made with love by Olivia!)
This retreat is an invitation to slow down, reconnect, and honour with love and reverence this profound and challenging chapter in your life.
By creating space for reflection and self-care, you’ll leave feeling more aligned with your body, empowered in your journey, and deeply connected to a community that truly understands.
What is Breathwork?
Transformational Breathwork is an active meditation technique that uses the breath to clear the body and nervous system of emotional debris. It is a somatic healing practise with the capacity to move and transform stuck emotional energy.
- Helps to bypass our thinking brain and quiets the incessant mind chatter
- Allows us to drop into the body and the heart
- Makes space for intuitive messages, ephiphanies and revelations
- Connects us to our life force energy in a deeply embodied way
- Releases old patterns, old beliefs and old stories
- Shifts the inertia associated with depression
- Creates peace and calm to relieve anxiety
- Fosters a sense of groundedness and safety within the body
When we clear our stuck emotions – all the thwarted experiences of sadness, fear and anger – our brains become more coherent and our nervous systems soothed. We start to feel calmer and clearer, and more able to live with courage, compassion and confidence.
