Founded in May 2021 by Director Manuel Ponce, Mariachi Pueblo Viejo was created to showcase the authentic spirit of Jalisco’s mariachi tradition. Now celebrating 5 years, the group has quickly earned recognition for its musical excellence and passion for preserving Mexico’s cultural heritage. Under the musical direction of Maestro Daniel Rosales and David Gill, Mariachi Pueblo Viejo has performed alongside world-renowned ensembles like Mariachi Nuevo Tecalitlán and Grammy-winning Mariachi Los Camperos. Highlights include two sold-out Christmas concerts at The Soraya in California and a special performance with Camila Fernández, granddaughter of Vicente Fernández.
