Kathryn Humphrey: Ghost Tribe: “Ghost Tribe” is a new series from artist Kathryn Humphrey that reawakens the ancient, primal energy of tribal masks from cultures across the globe. Nearly every culture across the planet, throughout human history, created and used masks to celebrate and ritualize. With a fusion of tradition and modernity, the artist strips these ancestral designs to their core, creating sleek, minimal forms that pulse with an otherworldly, timeless presence.
Cerese Vaden: Deltiology & the Corybantic Defacement: “Deltiology and the Corybantic Defacement” is a series of surprising, small, hand cut, mixed media collages constructed on original vintage postcards. Each collage is its’ own unique combination of absurd, funny, ironic, nostalgic, and/or beautiful comprised of imagery culled from a range of original sources, along with hand printed papers, colored pencil, and acrylic pen.
