Sowohl physisch als auch imaginativ, wahrnehmend und handelnd, fühlend und expressiv – der Körper ist ein Ort vieler Gegensätze. Zugleich konkret und abstrakt, verletzlich und stark, wird in ihm das Politische persönlich und das Persönliche politisch. Über neun Arbeiten hinweg nähern sich die Künstler*innen bei PERFORMdANCE #36 dieser Thematik auf vielfältige Weise. In seiner 36. Ausgabe präsentiert das Festival ein Programm mit zahlreichen Performances von lokalen und internationalen Künstler*innen, einem kuratierten Abend mit drei Solo-Arbeiten, einer Welcome-Party zum Mittanzen sowie einem umfangreichen Workshopkalender, der für jede*n etwas zu bieten hat.

EN Both physical and imaginative, sensing and doing, receiving and expressing – the body is a site of many opposites. Concrete and abstract, vulnerable and strong at the same time, it is where the political becomes personal and the personal political.
Across nine works, artists at PERFORMdANCE #36 approach these topics in diverse ways. In its 36th edition, the festival presents a program featuring numerous performances by local and international artists, a welcome party where you can dance along, a curated evening with three solo works, and an extensive workshop calendar that has something to offer for everyone.
