About this Event
Performing Fijian dance and songs, Vure-i-VITI’s dances are entertaining and informative, often telling a story.
Vure-i-VITI began with local children’s passion to learn and live their Fijian culture. The group’s name translates as sprung/spring in Fijian. It means the source, inspiration and fountain of their passion, purpose, knowledge and skills, sprung from links to their ancestral home, Fiji.
Come along to see Vure-i-VITI perform in the gallery, surrounded by the artworks of fellow iTaukei Claudia Jowitt, in Uana / Carried by the Waves.
