Performance Group Block 1- Murton History Festival

The Murton History Festival is a multi-period event held in August at Murton Park on the outskirts of York. We would be providing some short displays of Regency Dancing (probably 2 or 3 sessions of dance a day of around 20-30 minutes) with a "have-a-go" teaching session at the end. We will be performing around 4-6 fairly simple regency dances for those watching and then encouraging and helping those who wish to join in at the end. If we get enough people we can also split so that everyone doesn't have to attend both days.
Rehearsal Dates: Sunday 24th May, Sunday 28th June, Sunday 12th July, Sunday 2nd August (Afternoons at Theatre@41, Monkgate, York)
Show Dates: Saturday 15th August And Sunday 16th August- Murton Park History Festival, York (we can organise lifts for anyone who needs it)
Requirements: Regency Costume (we will help you out if you need one)
Cost: £20 for all sessions

Minimum Number Required: 6 people

There is a small associated fee for the performance group to help cover the cost of the rehearsal rooms. You will need a costume but we will help provide one if you do not have anything suitable yourself. Ideally you would be able to attend all of the rehearsal dates but please let Lottie know if there is a problem.
