Perfecting the Bowl
Calling beginner and intermediate pottery enthusiasts! This mini course is for students who have had at least one pottery wheel class and can center clay. Participants will learn strategies for throwing various bowl forms, focusing on both aesthetic and function. Expect to refine existing skills using class time to practice throwing bowls and keep only the best work. Class will consist of three weeks of making and one week of glazing. Participants may come away with 4 - 6 successfully thrown bowls. Bowl size is based on 1-3 lbs. each. Bring your tools; clay & glaze is included. Seats will fill fast! This mini-course is not suited for first time clay students. Participants must already know how to center and pull clay. This is a wheel-throwing course; No hand-building. ** $70
