Pepatian Presents Dancing Futures 2026: Meet the Artists

Dancing Futures is back for the twelfth annual edition! Meet the rising NYC dance artists selected for this year’s Dancing Futures Residency. Get a glimpse of their innovative work in anticipation of their culminating performance/showings at BAAD! later this fall.

This annual collaboration between Pepatián and BAAD! Bronx Academy of Arts and Dance offers professional development opportunities to three early-career dance artists of color based in NYC and/or emerging Bronx-based dance artists.

With special guests: several writers from Dancing Futures projects will share excerpts from their published essays, including: Sarah Cecilia Bukowski, Ashayla Byrd, Darvejon A. Jones, Anh Vo.

This project is produced in partnership with Pepatián: Bronx Arts ColLABorative.
