About us:
  • The People's Care Movement, rooted in Bradford, is a collaborative group of people with lived connections to care, including through being disabled and neurodivergent, migrants, carers, parents, children, and people who are excluded from care, and affected by inequality and discrimination. We use our lived connection to care to create more caring and inclusive communities. The People’s Care Movement was brought together in 2025 by Josie Tothill, working as an Our Patch Creative Practitioner with Bradford City of Culture. You can find out more here
  • SEND Salaam works with community centres and religious spaces to support SEND children & families, celebrating and fostering positive approaches to care within diverse communities.
  • BH Childcare is Bushra’s freelance project, which has been providing quality childcare for over 15 years.

Donations

The People’s Care Movement is fundraising so we can continue creating spaces of care, connection and accessible ways to learn and take action together. You can support us by: coming to events, sharing the event with others, asking to get involved, and making a donation if you’re able. If you cannot attend but would still like to donate, please contact us: [email protected] or WhatsApp: +44 7400 294182 and we will share out bank details.
