The annual Peony tour and tasting will be held this year on June 21, 2026 again at Farmer Doug's. 3361 Lindahl Rd 55810. The peonies will be in bloom and you will see 10+ varieties of the beauties. There will be complimentary wine at each of 5 stations. You will learn our tricks and tips on growing, cutting, keeping, and how to make a bouquet. It's a place where art and science come together. You will have to opportunity to tour 5 areas all with different systems and ways of growing. You will get a glimpse of an area where lavender grows, sunflowers and other blooms. This is a commercial peony operation, so there may not be many peonies actually in bloom. We cut stems every day while in the marshmallow stage and keep them in cold storage until used. Farmer Doug will be at a station, and he will give advice and have lots of stories to tell.
Admission is just $13 per adult $25 for 2, while kids get in free. No need to buy tickets in advance -- pay at the gate!!
