Join us at the beautiful and historic WAH Center for this monthly series showcasing genre defying artists from all corners of the creative, and improvised music world. The mission of this innovative series is to foster a contemporary audience for live performance through unique and thoughtful programming.


is a traditionally trained Korean artist playing the gayageum, a traditional Korean string instrument. She has developed a uniquely broad approach to music, which incorporates Korean music, jazz, and improvisation, among other influences, and is credited with introducing the gayageum into the improvisational music scene worldwide.


From Steve Long's trio , Pentiment Worx will feature VĪXĪ , their debut album. The title comes from superstitions surrounding numbers, specifically the roman numeral XVII, and its invocations of death. This record though, is not about death. It is about cyclical forms, the part containing the whole, people and things embodying their antithesis
