Join the Lower Saucon Township Historical Society for a free program by Denise Wilz on Pennsylvania Redware on April 8, 2026 at 7 PM. The program will take place at Seidersville Hall, 3700 Old Philadelphia Pike, Bethlehem, PA 18015. This free program will explore the art of Redware, a centuries-old Pennsylvania German pottery technique in which designs are scratched into clay to create distinctive folk art. This technique was used to decorate the finest wares.
Wilz is a Master Artisan of the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen and is included in the Directory of Traditional American Crafts presented by Early American Life Magazine.
