Penn Shoreline Cleanup

Interested in volunteering and making a difference at Shirley Chisholm State Park?

Join us on Saturday February 28th, 2026 from 1pm-3pm at the for a Shoreline Cleanup! Together, we will be cleaning debris off the shoreline of the Penn Water Access Area.

All materials, including hand sanitizer, gloves, and garbage pickers are provided. Please dress for the weather and wear shoes you don't mind getting muddy!

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

The Penn Water Access Area is about 0.25 miles, or a 5-10 minute walk, from the Penn Parking Lot. Please refer to the map below.
