Peninsula Pride - IDAHOBIT Community Market Day

A joint event between Peninsula Pride, and Frankston Youth Services.

Come hang out, explore local stalls, enjoy some great vibes, and connect with an amazing community. It’s the perfect opportunity to support young LGBTQIA+ creatives.

This event is a community makers market day to celebrate and acknowledge IDAHOBIT -the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Interphobia, and Transphobia- facilitated by Peninsula Pride and Frankston Youth Services. We will be at the Frankston forecourt outside Frankston Youth Central and Frankston Library. IF the weather is unkind, we will move into Frankston Youth Central.

At this event, young LGBTIQA+ creatives and allies are invited to sell their creative works to the community. The market will be open for the duration of the event.

There is no cost to attend the market- instead, we will have a community art piece called the “Community Noticeboard” where your ‘price’ of entry is to leave a message of support for the LGBTQIA + community

We ask that community members who are planning to attend to please register via Eventbrite.

To attend the market, you do not need to bring anything EXCEPT your support for our wonderful youth creators!

It may be a good idea to bring cash as stallholders may not have EFTPOS or bank transfer facilities- however there are several ATMS nearby if you find yourself cashless on the day.
