This is a 3 days workshop. Jan 1st, 8th, and Jan 15th
Students will choose make either a pendant or a brooch. We will explore a variety of ways to texture copper and/or silver. We will learn how to drill, saw those pieces into shapes and use cold connections to construct a small sculptural brooch/pendant. Finishing techniques will be discussed. Our goal is to have a basic understanding of a wide range of processes and the tools and equipment to accomplish those goals. In addition to $165 class fee there will be a materials fee paid directly to the instructor. If you want to work with silver the kit and silver will be $125. (But if you took class from Kaki before and paid for the kit then you will pay only $105.)
If you want to work with copper the fee is $35. (But if you took a class from Kaki before and paid for the kit you will only pay $15).
