Pencil To Paper Graphite Drawing Series

This 4 week course focuses on graphite drawing techniques, with instruction designed to help you:

• Improve observation and layout skills
• Build confidence with pencil work
• Strengthen drawing skills that translate to painting
• Explore graphite and colored pencil as finished art forms

Suggested Supplies:

• 2 graphite pencils (HB and 4B recommended)
• 12-inch ruler
• Kneaded eraser and white eraser
• Portable pencil sharpener
• Drawing pad (11” x 14” recommended; smooth surface preferred, such as Strathmore)
