Penobscot Bay Community Collaboration Brings Back Regional Business Expo with a Job Fair Component.
The Penobscot Bay Community Collaboration, a partnership between Rock Coast Entrepreneurs, Camden Area Business Group (CABG), and Rockland Main Street, Inc., is excited to announce the 1st Annual Penbay Showcase & Job Fair, scheduled for Wednesday, April 23rd, 2025, at the Samoset Resort, 220 Warrenton Street, Rockland, ME 04841 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
This year, the event is expanding to include a much-needed job fair, providing a direct connection between job seekers and employers across Midcoast Maine.
The Penobscot Bay Community Collaboration is not a replacement for the Chamber of Commerce or an official organization, but rather a community-driven initiative to sustain vital regional events. The planning team is actively working to expand partnerships, recruit volunteers, and coordinate with the Maine Department of Labor to make the job fair component as impactful as possible.
While maintaining the spirit of past expos, several key improvements will make the 2025 Penbay Showcase & Job Fair more inclusive and effective:
✔ Open to All Businesses & Organizations – Previously limited to Chamber members, this event is now open to any business or nonprofit looking to showcase their products or services and/or to hire talent.
✔ Nonprofit Discounts – Special reduced rates will be available for nonprofit organizations to encourage greater participation.
✔ Flexible Booth Options – Businesses can now purchase a second booth for additional space.
✔ Simplified Floor Plan – The event layout has been streamlined for better accessibility and visibility.
✔ Convenient Timing – Scheduled during April school vacation week, this will allow families and students to attend and to explore career opportunities with employers.
