The highly anticipated Penang Hill Heritage Forest Challenge (PHHFC) is returning for the 11th edition on 16 August 2026 (Sunday)!This annual trail running event invites nature lovers and trail enthusiasts to explore the lush, evergreen trails of Penang Hill while testing their endurance across challenging terrains. Participants can choose between the 8km and 15km routes, both starting from the Exit Car Park of Penang Youth Park (Next to SJK (T) Azad) and finishing at the Penang Hill Angsana Stage atop the hill, near Dataran Bukit Bendera.
Since its inception in 2014, the PHHFC has become more than just a race. It has grown into a platform to showcase and promote Penang as a premier eco-tourism destination while fostering awareness and appreciation for environmental and heritage conservation within the Penang Hill Biosphere Reserve (PHBR).
