The third in our season of talks offers a fresh look at one of the Island’s most dramatic stretches of coastline. Adam Horne takes us on a west coast voyage from Peel down to Fleshwick, sweeping into Port Erin Bay, and onward through yn Cheyllys Vooar – the great Sound between Kitterland and the Calf. For most of us, seeing the land from the water offers a completely different perspective. As Adam guides us along the route, he highlights places of interest and brings the landscape to life with stories, folklore, and snippets of local history.
Tickets cost £7 (or £5 if you are a Friend of RHT) and are available from the EAC website (see link above), Bridge Bookshop (cash only) in Port Erin, or Rushen Heritage Centre in Bridson Street, Port Erin (please note, RHC is only open on Monday afternoons during the winter months).
