Roll in by bike (or foot), meet some neighbors, and help transform the Bike Library’s new outdoor space with 12 elevated raised beds, all designed for beauty and snacks.We’ll do 30 minutes of teaching, 30 minutes of hands-on establishment, then 30 minutes of hang-out time to swap tips and enjoy the glow of establishing something together.
What you’ll learn:
* How to place raised beds for sun, access, and low maintenance
* How to assemble a raised bed kit (without a meltdown)
* Simple soil fill strategy for strong starts (soil provided by Lucy's Soil)
* How to plant a themed bed: cut flowers, tea herbs, culinary herbs, grazing foods
* How to care for your new plant friends
Taught by EarthMind instructors—and authors of Low-Maintenance Eco Gardens—with discounted books available after class.
