PECO Free First Sunday Family Day: Freedom Rain Speaks? Sunday, May 4

On the first Sunday of the month, we offer free admission to the Barnes! This month, experience the power of storytelling through movement, poetry, and music with Freedom Rain Speaks—a special collaboration between Malaya Ulan, Philadelphia’s youth poet laureate, and her mother, Ani Gavino, a dancer and multidisciplinary artist. Malaya and Ani’s Filipino-centered arts collective, AniMalayaWorks, promises an unforgettable day of poetry, music, and movement for the whole family.
Enjoy free access to our collection and Cecily Brown: Themes and Variations, plus hands-on art activities, performances, and Spanish-learning storytime and sing-along sessions throughout the day!
