Join us for an experimental PechaKucha where we are challenging 8 speakers to completely improvise their talk on the night!PechaKucha Night Manchester Vol. 39 - 'Improv'
We're back for our first event of 2025! Join us at Cultplex at GRUB to hear from 8 inspiring speakers taking on our improv challenge: each speaker will have to improvise their talk.
Our line-up includes designers, public servants, runners, community champions and comedians all ready to take on the PechaKucha challenge with a twist: improvse a talk using the 20x20 format; they will have just 20 images and only 20 seconds per image to speak, no stopping.
During the evening, you will have a chance to meet other creatives in Greater Manchester grab a 10-minute portrait from Holly Pittaway and... if you're brave/lucky enough, take on the improv challenge yourself.

About PechaKucha Night Manchester
PechaKucha Night Manchester was relaunched in June 2016 by a new team after an eighteen month hiatus.
This is our 27th PechaKucha following a string of successful events. We are indebted to the support of Manchester’s creative scene coming along as speakers and audience members as well as our previous hosts, SpacePortX, Ziferblat, The Wonder Inn, Neo, the Rapha Clubhouse, PLANT, Texture, the International Anthony Burgess Foundation, the Bright Building, the Fairfield Social Club (three times), Colony (twice), The Whitworth, LEAF on Portland St, People's History Museum, Old Bank Residency, online, Feel Good Club, Manchester Metropolitan University, Patagonia and Cultplex. Most importantly, thank YOU for keeping us going!
PechaKucha Nights will continue to take place roughly every three-six months(ish) at venues across Manchester. Our mission is to feature a high calibre of creatives, designers, artists and community projects from the city and the north.
