About this Event
Join the Pebbles to Pearls Youth Ambassadors for a fun and inclusive High School Sport Day at Carson Graham Large Gym! Games include basketball and volleyball. Teams will be created with prizes for Players in the following categories: Most Sportsmanlike, Most enthusiastic, Most Inclusive, and also for Teams that exude encouragement, inclusivity and friendship. All skill levels welcome!
Globally, millions of impoverished youth are excluded from sports and play due to lack of resources, societal expectations, and competing responsibilites for family needs. Girls are the most impacted by these factors. Our goal is to have 100 youth join the event and learn more about Pebbles to Pearls. Come, play and get involved!
Pebbles to Pearls is a non-profit charitable organization that supports access to education for children and youth in Africa and India with a focus on equalizing girls education as the most effective means to erradicating mutligenerational poverty.
