Age Requirements: Workshop is designed for adults
Early Bird Pricing: Take advantange of super early bird and early bird tiered pricing options. The earlier you book the more your save!
Event Size: There is a 4 person minimum required to hold event. In the event of low turnout, a refund will be issued.
Event Duration: This is a hands-on experience. Depending on the flow of the event and the speed of the attendees the event could end a little early or run a little overtime.
Ticket Policy
Advance ticket purchase is required. Due to the limited seating and preparation required for this experience, tickets are non-refundable.
If you are unable to attend, your ticket may be transferred to another guest or applied as a credit toward a future workshop or event at The Baker’s Lab, with advance notice. Transfer requests must be made at least 24 hours prior to the event.
In the unlikely event that the workshop must be cancelled by The Baker’s Lab at 5-12 Dessert due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances, guests will receive a full refund or the option to transfer their ticket to a future event.

The Baker’s Lab at 5-12 Dessert is a boutique dessert studio in Waldorf, Maryland known for luxury dessert experiences, artistic cake design, and creative hands-on workshops led by pastry chef Chef Tai.

· Bachelor degree in Baking & Pastry Arts from Johnson & Wales University
· Master degree in Business Administration from Johnson & Wales University
· Florence University of the Arts / Florence, Italy Study Abroad
· Former High School Baking & Pastry Arts Teacher
· Over 10 years as a business owner and over 15 years’ experience in the baking industry
