About this Event
On 16th November 2024, we will be hosting our second Pearl Project celebration — a powerful event dedicated to celebrating the resilience and triumphs of survivors of gender-based abuse. Throughout 2024, we’re collaborating with courageous women to document their journeys, aiming to ignite a ripple effect of impact across communities. Our mission is to: inspire hope, raise awareness about the issue, and break the barriers of shame and stigma that too often surround these experiences.
The Pearl Project is a collaboration between Voices of Hope and Robyn Harper Photography, with the Royal Borough of Kingston as its main partner. At the heart of the Pearl Project event night will be a captivating photography exhibition featuring the incredible women from across SW London. They’ll be honored with awards, their stories will take center stage, and our collective efforts will be showcased. Expect an evening filled with moving performances, including soulful songs from our women’s survivors choir, poignant poetry, and compelling video presentations.
