Join Pearl of the World for a mini-themed life drawing event
About the Session
Across a two hour session, you will be invited to draw a nude life model. Unlike our other themed sessions, this session will focus on sequences and gesture using only props.
All drawing materials are provided- just bring yourself & an open mindset!
No experience in life drawing or art is necessary, our sessions are open & welcome to everyone.
At the beginning of the session, there will be a focus on gestural and warm up poses to get you ready for the tail end of the night- long pose. The model will be posing with props alongside a curated soundtrack and ambient lighting to spark your imagination.
About Pearl of the World
Pearl of the World is a life drawing collective that solely delivers themed events, promoting creativity and use of imagination. We meet at echo & bounce monthly, under a different theme each time.
Echo & Bounce
Echo & Bounce is at 596 Stanley St in Woolloongabba and functions as a community space and record store. They have ramen night on Thursdays and a bar you are welcome to get food and drinks throughout the session.
Important info
☆ Please arrive at 6:15 for a prompt 6:30pm start – arriving late distracts both the model and artists
☆ The studio space will be downstairs next to the bar
☆ Parking is extremely limited, so you are encouraged to use the Mater or Princess Theatre parking ~ the Mater bus stop is also a short 4-minute walk from the venue
