A new topic for 2026 to start our series of walks in Northamptonshire looking at the counties radical history.
Tickets are free but you need to book on to participate.
Meet outside the Grosvenor Centre in the Market Square Northampton for this walk looking at the people and places in Northampton that were involved in campaigning for peace before and during WW1. We describe events, famous campaigners who visited Northampton, and prominent local activists .
The walk will take around 1 hour and will be in the town centre. We will go at a leisurely pace covering about 1 mile over the fully accessible route on public pedestrian footpaths.
The walk ends at 12.00noon back where we started
When booking, can you ensure that you put the name and email address of the person who the ticket is for i.e. the person who will be attending. These walks normally sell out quickly so if you can no longer attend please cancel your ticket on eventbrite and someone else will be able to use it.
