Peace and Pilates - Mindset menopause
Join us in person for a relaxing session that blends the calming and strengthening power of mindful movement through Pilates with meditation, reflection and journaling
This event aims to help you find a space of inner peace, connection and support and to capture the group in the spirit of 'awakening' .
Be supported and soothed on this journey with like-minded women.
Today's session invites the theme of 'awakening' as we reach a real awakening point of the year, when all the plants seem to have burst into their fullness and we are reaching some of the longest days of the year, when the sun triggers a sense of awakening and action in our minds and bodies.
Together you'll be guided through the thoughts, feelings and emotions that this theme brings up, while exploring an awakening of inner peace while moving your body gently - yet effectively.
Peace & Pilates is a monthly relaxation and movement session to restore a sense of peace to mind and body, and nurture your spirit away from your troubles, whatever your body is feeling like! You've heard of yoga and meditation, Liisa and Judy bring a fresh alternative: Peace and Pilates.
Whether you are new to meditation or pilates, or an expert, this session has something for all to soothe away worries with conscious movement and meditation and reflective journaling.
Liisa has particular skill in supporting women recovering from injury to rediscover strength and help you to find ways to ease pain. Liisa will tailor each movement piece to your ability to gently stretch and awaken you from overthinking. Enjoy this peace to stretch, breathe, and unwind together!
Judy uses her skills in meditation, reiki and energy healing to help you find a space of peace in the busy-ness of your mind.
Together this session aims to help you find an inner power and an inner peace - you perhaps didn't realise was waiting for you!

10.45 Movement phase 1: Exploring feelings of awakening and overcoming resistance

11.20 Movement phase 2: Feeling awakening in your body and noticing where this shifts you
11.40 Meditation and journaling: Awakening to all that is unspoken within you
