About this Event
Join PCP/BuildIn as we explore the unexpected follies around the extensive grounds of The Tawny Hotel, set amungst the Staffordshire countryside.
A garden folly is a structure, designed for decoration, with no other purpose than to delight, add a touch of whimsy, or a point of interest.
In the 1960's may large country houses and their gardens were being demolised and a number of large-scale features, stone works, statues and fountains were given a new home in the 70 acre estate of The Tawny Hotel.
We will follow The Folly Trail Map challenging each other to see how many of these quirky features we can see during out visit!
The walk will be followed by lunch within the Perch Suite which offers panoramic views across the sublime Consall Estate, and where the chef's passion really comes through by using locally sourced produce as well as their own on-site working herb garden.
