About this Event
In our first live reading event of 2024, we're leaping into the ACTION and MYSTERY of kids comics. Crab appendages, talking skeletons, gooey superheroes, and time travel will have you on the edge of your seat! And as a bonus, the experts will guide you on how to make a short comic of your own.
Featuring local super-talent Gavin Aung Than, Bailey Walker, Renée Treml, and Campbell Whyte, plus the onstage chaos of our energetic MC Aśka!
Hope to see you all at the State Library of WA Theatre to wrap up the holidays with some action poses and mysterious sound effects. This session is family-friendly and free, but Eventbrite reservations are strongly encouraged as our last daytime Stories event booked out.
This is the fifth of an ongoing biannual PCAF Stories event series hosted by the Perth Comic Arts Festival and State Library of WA. The second event of 2024 will be adult focused, with more details to come later in the year.
