Presented by WSIU Public Broadcasting and Cedarhurst Center for the Arts (at Cedarhurst) 2600 E. Richview Rd, Mt Vernon, IL.
Join us for a special family-friendly event focused on the popular PBS Kids series “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood" !
Planned activities include:
• Yes! Daniel Tiger himself will be here ~ Bring your camera !
• All aboard! Take a “Lions Club” train ride through the wooded Sculpture Park!
• Explore the outdoors at Cedarhurst as you work together to find colors and objects for the Nature Scavenger Hunt !
• Watch a Daniel Tiger video in the museum performance hall!
• Create a mask of your favorite Tiger and friends!
• Select a book to take home from the Free Book giveaway!
• Visit our sponsor tables and learn!
• Sign up for a chance to win a Daniel Tiger toy figure and trolley to take home
Guests are welcomed to visit the Beck Family Center plus tour Cedarhurst’s beautiful campus and the 80-acre Goldman-Kuenz Sculpture Park featuring over 70 sculptures, plus walking trails and wildlife.
The event is scheduled rain or shine. Individuals with disabilities are welcomed.
