PbP x JACCC x SLT Presents: Green Little Tokyo Mixer

Join Project by Project (PbP) - LA at the Green Little Tokyo fundraising mixer to support our 2021 beneficiary partner Sustainable Little Tokyo and the Japanese American Cultural & Community Center (JACCC) in a campaign for Asian Americans and the Environment on Tuesday, November 16 @ 6:00 PM at JACCC! Come mingle with us at the beautiful new Toshizo Watanabe Culinary Cultural Center and James Irvine Japanese Garden, featuring food prepared by JACCC and Cafe Dulce and beverages from BOPOMOFO, Drunk Fruit, and Labobatory. There will also be Japanese Bokashi composting demonstrations and information on volunteer opportunities to join our 2022 PbP Steering Committee! Due to COVID safety reasons, we are offering limited tickets. Purchase your ticket today before it’s gone!

$40 Admission ticket includes:

  • Entrance fee and exclusive access to the Toshizo Watanabe Culinary Cultural Center and James Irvine Japanese Garden at JACCC
  • One (1) Curry Rice Bowl prepared by the new Toshizo Watanabe Culinary Cultural Center (Choice of chicken or vegetable)

  • One (1) Drink ticket (Choice of BOPOMOFO or Labobatory non-alcoholic beverage)

Proceeds from this mixer will go towards supporting JACCC’s Sustainable Little Tokyo initiative to help raise awareness of environmental sustainability and preserve the culture and small business economy of Los Angeles’ Little Tokyo.

Admission: $40 + fees (Photo ID and proof of vaccination is required. This mixer is a 21+ event, and all sales are final)

Dress code: Casual/Business casual attire is recommended

Parking: Street Parking or Judge Aiso Parking Garage located at 101 N Judge John Aiso St, Los Angeles, CA 90012 ($3 flat rate after 5:00 PM)

PUBLIC HEALTH

All visitors upon entry must provide proof of completed vaccination against COVID-19. Completed vaccination means your final vaccine dose is at least 14 days before the event. Photo or electronic record of vaccination is acceptable. A negative test result for COVID-19 is NOT allowed as a substitution for proof of vaccination.

Current LA County public health order requires proper masking indoors regardless of vaccination status.

Attendees assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any concerns about contracting the virus while attending the event. The vaccine status of other individuals may be unknown to the attendees, and attendees might be from populations that may not be currently eligible for vaccination or may be immunocompromised and whose vaccine protection may be incomplete.
