On 6 May 2025, the Equal Pay Amendment Act was sprung on us by Brooke van Velden. To mark this anniversary and our rage at the $12.8 billion in wage theft from some of Aotearoa's most vulnerable workers, confirmed by the government's budget last year, we aim to particularly swell the ranks of the fortnightly & year-long PPTA Pay Equity pickets this month. It is vital that this issue be kept front and centre in hearts and minds this election year!
