For Ages 6β17Reading to animals helps provide comfort to the animals while teaching empathy and confidence to children.
For the Animals:
Reading aloud in a calm, one-on-one setting gives our cats and dogs valuable social interaction. It helps skittish animals feel more comfortable around people and improves their chances of finding a loving home.
For the Children:
Animals donβt judge reading skills! This encourages hesitant or struggling readers to practice in a safe, supportive environment. Reading aloud helps improve literacy skills and fosters empathy in young learners.
