🐾🧸 PAWS IN PAJAMAS 🧸🐾Chicago Animal Care and Control is hosting a cozy, pajama themed adoption event and you’re invited!
You may have seen the great news we shared earlier today in our 2025 Year in Review... more adoptions, more transfers to rescue, and more lives saved. That progress matters. And now we need your help to keep that momentum going.
Join us for Paws in Pajamas and meet adoptable dogs and cats (some dressed for the occasion). Come comfy, spread some joy, and help more animals take the next step out of the shelter and into homes.
✨ Adoption fees waived this Sunday, January 18th ✨

🕛 Adoption hours are 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
If you're ready to adopt that day, please arrive by 5:30 p.m.
🐶 If you live in the City of Chicago, there’s a $5 dog license fee that cannot be waived but can be paid at the shelter.
Are you excited and can’t wait until the 18th? As a reminder, in the meantime, adoption fees are always waived for all pets who have been here 30 days and over.
