Read to Sophie the Therapy DogSophie is a 5-year-old poodle who loves to hear stories! Kids can take turns reading to our lovable furry listener in the Kids Area on the second Friday of each month.
Reading to animals is a wonderful way for children to practice their reading skills in a calm, supportive environment—free of pressure or judgment.
Sophie has been trained through Pilot Dogs and is certified by Therapy Dogs International. She attends each session with her human helper, Marty King.
Repeats on the 2nd Friday of each month.
