In partnership with RiseWise, a learning centre that supports children and adolescents with a wide range of individual needs, ranging from profound and multiple, complex learning disabilities to autism.
Partnership objectives:
To enhance public awareness of mental health issues and to emphasize the transformative benefits of animal-assisted therapy (therapy dog). This initiative aims to educate individuals about the positive effects that interactions with animals can have on emotional well-being, stress reduction, and overall mental health. Running and interacting with therapy dog to improve their mental health and to foster a greater understanding of the importance of mental well-being in our society.
Route Info
Enjoy the scenic run and the windy breeze along West Kowloon Promenade. Choose from 2km fun run or challenge yourself to complete a 4km route within West Kowloon Park.

Instructors:
Edmond Ho: Leading the run for the 4th time this year, Edmond will lead the group of runners at a comfortable pace and push you to the finish line.
Dr. Albert Ho: Hong Kong registered chiropractor will lead the warm up session focusing on injury prevention and gearing you up for your run.

The Rise Wise Foundation (RWF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping children with special educational needs (SEN) or mental health needs to build a more positive and inclusive community in Hong Kong. Every child is unique and they all learn in their own way. We specialize in designing and delivering customized programs that best fit the needs of each individual.
We advocate for scientifically proven Animal Assisted Intervention (AAI) and strive to provide a comprehensive learning environment for children and youth. We understand the challenges that SEN children, particularly those from underprivileged families experiencing with financial difficulties. RWF aims to raise public awareness and education about children with SEN and provide free or subsidized therapy for families in need. Our partner service organizations include community centers, primary and secondary schools, and nursing homes.
Additionally, we closely monitor the mental health needs of youth and the elderly, providing them with professional support services. By doing so, we aim to care for people across different age groups and foster a more compassionate and inclusive social environment.
