I’m not usually a betting person, but I would bet my best flip-flops that you’ve never seen a request quite like this! On July 25th at 11 AM, we’re throwing the first-ever Paws & Claws Showcase. It’s going to be epic – think “pets meet potluck,” but less messy and infinitely fluffier! We’ve invited a bunch of shelters and rescues to set up tables to collect donations and sell their finest wares. You’ll see adorable adoption books featuring animals that will change your life — and probably your couch color.
At first, I thought, "Food trucks at the event would be awesome!" But then I realized, who needs food trucks when WE can feed your lovely bellies instead? So, here's the twist: we’re asking for donations of brats, burgers, hot dogs, chips, condiments, napkins, drinks, bags of ice, and buns. Yes, you read that right! It’s basically a backyard BBQ without the backyard (or the grill, unless you want to bring one)!
But don’t get any ideas about us selling this deliciousness! No, no, we’re all about blessing our donors and visitors with free food. It's like a delicious pet-themed miracle! Plus, we have enough freezer space to keep the meat and buns cool, just don’t ask your neighbor for space — they are probably hiding leftover mystery meat from last summer.
Oh, and one important detail: lettuce, tomatoes, and onions need to be bought right before the event. We wouldn’t want anything to go wilted or sad on our party platter. So come one, come all, and let's make some furry friends while filling our tummies! ���
