Join us for a special night of music with world-traveling singer-songwriter and fingerstyle guitarist Paul Sprawl, whose intricate playing and soulful baritone voice have captivated audiences across North America and Europe.
Paul’s music uniquely combines percussive guitar techniques with bottleneck, tapping, and bluesy harmonica, creating a sound that is both musically rich and deeply poetic. His thoughtfully crafted songs reflect the colorful experiences of a lifelong troubadour, drawing listeners into cinematic visions and intimate, real-world stories.
His distinct style has earned high praise from notable musicians, leading to collaborations with artists like Grammy-winner Howard Levy (Béla Fleck) and acclaimed producer Lee Townsend (Bill Frisell, John Scofield). Fellow songwriter David Wilcox noted that when it comes to Paul's playing, "there's stuff that he does that nobody else does."
Paul has released nine full-length independent albums, including the acclaimed Blue Suitcase and Dream Zoo. Over a full-time music career spanning more than two decades, he has brought his unique blend of folk, experimental acoustic, and Americana to listening rooms and festivals around the globe.
Beyond his relentless touring schedule, Paul and his dancer/choreographer wife have been working to build a sanctuary for artists to find refuge and inspiration in the remote, beautiful landscape of Big Bend, Texas.
