After last year’s sell-out show, Paul Merton returns to introduce another selection of brilliant silent comedies, accompanied on the piano by Kirsty Newton.
This time round we feature screenings of three complete films: Charlie Chaplin’s 'Easy Street', Laurel and Hardy’s 'Your Darn Tootin’' and Harold Lloyd’s marvellous feature 'For Heaven’s Sake'. Those who attended last year will need no persuasion to once again enjoy some of the finest comedies ever made.
To see these films with live, improvised musical accompaniment and a large, appreciative audience is one of the great cinema experiences. The Picture House is the perfect venue in which to enjoy these timeless classics. Be sure to book early to avoid disappointment.
