Another chance to hear composer Paul Drayton’s moving interpretation of the story of Christ’s betrayal and death. The text is different from JS Bach’s famous St Matthew and St John Passions. It features extracts of English poetry and the Psalms, as well as Roman literature, to provide a powerful retelling of the story for a modern audience.
