About this Event
In this class, you’ll learn to make a beautiful thin, colorful, lacy-but-cozy Cobweb Felted Scarf— large enough to drape around your neck or shoulders. Cobweb felting is a wet felting process that creates a lightweight felt fabric with lovely drape and a delightfully uneven texture. Students will learn how to carefully lay out the wool into diverse patterns and then felt the piece into a finished colorful shawPlease note that wet felting can be a physical process. You must feel comfortable with a rolling pin type of motion that is used to meld the fibers together. You can use your hands, fore arms or even feet! The felting is done in 5 minute increments so you can pace yourself. Materials fee covers all the wool and design/embellishment fibers. Bring 2 towels and some sharp scissors. (Ages 16+)

Payment will be processed and is required at the time of registration. Students are considered registered when tuition is paid in full.
Refund only possible if student withdraws by phone or in writing at least 10 days prior to the first class— NO EXCEPTIONS.
If the class is cancelled by EFC, a full refund will be given. Students will be notified of any scheduling changes. We will contact students if class is cancelled due to severe weather and a make-up class will be scheduled.
Gift certificates are available for classes.
