In honor of the US Semiquintcentennial, the annual Spring art show will have a patriotic theme. We are taking entries March 20-March 23.-all 2-D entries are welcome (we will have a 3-D show in June)
-Entries need to be framed or gallery wrapped
-Entries need to be wired and ready to hang (no sawtooth hangers)
-All work must be original artwork of the entered artist and mist ne recent (within last 2 years). I must not have been shown in previous Harlin Museum competitions.
-size limit 36x48
THEMES:
1. American Symbols & Icons: Flags, eagles, monuments, historic imagery, national emblems
2. Landscapes of America: Rural, urban, heartland, coastlines--places that FEEL American.
3. Portraits of America: Veterans, workers, everyday citizens, historical figures, or modern Americans.
Entry fee: 1st entry-$20, 2nd entry - $15, 3rd entry - $10, 4th entry- $5, 5th entry- free
PRIZES: Best of Show: $100.
For each category: 1st place - $75; 2nd place - $50; 3rd place - $25
