It follows a colonial boy who befriends Johnny Bear, an Acadian child separated from his family, and risks everything to help him survive prejudice and find his way home.Patricia Zube is an author, poet, and former elementary school teacher whose passion for writing began in childhood. She grew up in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, and later lived in Hudson, New Hampshire, where she raised her family and taught school while developing her craft as a writer. Zube’s work spans fiction, memoir, and poetry, often inspired by history and personal experience. She is active in several writer and historical societies and has published poems and short pieces in regional anthologies and newsletters.
