The North East & North Cumbria Local Maternity & Neonatal System (LMNS), ICB and Academic Health Science Network (AHNS) are hosting a joint event focusing on the implementation of the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF) within maternity and neonatal services across the region.
Following the national webinar planned on 29th June 2023, we would like to invite all Heads of Midwifery, Clinical Directors, and maternity Patient Safety Specialists / leads, to join us for a face-to-face event in Durham to discuss how PSIRF can be applied in maternity and neonatal services. We will look at PSIRF and the Three year plan and other recent reports and recommendations; we will look at how current reporting requirements align with PSIRF; we will discuss concerns about implementing PSIRF for maternity & neonatal within your organisation, and we will hold a workshop to support you to develop the maternity & neonatal aspect of your Trusts’ Patient Safety Incident Response Plan.
We invite Heads of Midwifery, Clinical Directors and PSIRF leads in maternity & neonatal, to join us and explore:
- How PSIRF aligns with the Three Year plan and other reports & recommendations
- How current reporting and investigation requirements align with PSIRF
- Your questions and concerns about implementing PSIRF in maternity & neonatal services
- How we can support you in developing a PSIRF plan
If you have additional needs, please email [email protected] and we’ll do what we can to help you.
