Every high school had that kid. Doc Martens. A zine about suffering. The girls who organized their entire social identity around him. The jocks who couldn't understand why being popular suddenly meant nothing. Gilbert wrote all of this in 1881. Opera Kansas is finally setting it where it belongs: 1995.
Think Clueless meets live opera. Performed with full score, full cast, in an intimate space.
