Come join us for a peaceful gathering at D.H. Stanton Park as we walk together towards unity. This local initiative, “Path to Peace: A Walk for Unity,” is rooted in the heart of the May 25th Declaration of World Peace and aims to bring together residents from both sides of the Peoplestown community—bridging divides and fostering relationships grounded in peace and mutual respect.
This peace walk seeks to create a bridge between long-standing residents, whose roots in Peoplestown span decades, and newer community members who are now part of its evolving story. “A Path to Peace” will be a space for healing, honoring the neighborhood's legacy, and affirming a shared commitment to a unified, inclusive future. By walking together, we acknowledge the past, connect in the present, and build trust for the future.
